Mapillary Camera
We have one GoPro MAX camera kit that you can borrow for a while to capture street level imagery to enhance your (and everyone’s) mapping experience!
This is the same type of camera that our parent organization OpenStreetMap U.S. offers through their Camera Grant program. Our “program” works a bit different though. We just have the camera available at every Map Night and whoever wants to borrow it for a while, gets it! So far, interest has been modest enough that we don’t have to have a waiting list. So, just show up at a Map Night and show your interest! All we ask for is active participation in the form of Mapillary imagery contributed here in Utah.
The camera kit consists of:
- A GoPro MAX 360 degree camera
- A 128GB SD card for image storage
- A ‘selfie stick’
