Mall Mapping
OSM Utah has organized several successful “Mall Mapping” sessions. We gather at a local mall with the sole purpose of updating all the business information: checking existing businesses for changes, adding new ones and removing ones that are closed. We use mobile map editor tools, so anyone with a Smartphone can participate!
Potential Upcoming locations for Mall Mapping are:
- Jordan Landing
- Station Park
- The Shops at South Town
- City Creek
Park City Excursion
In the fall, we will organize a Park City Mapping excursion. Similar to the Mall Mapping events, we will carpool and meet near Park City’s historic Main Street, and update the map of one of the most visited places in Utah.
